Everywhere you look right now, GPT-5 is making headlines. And with it comes a question that a lot of entrepreneurs’ whisper to themselves late at night: “Will AI replace me?”
The honest answer is no. AI won’t replace you. But here’s the truth most people don’t want to say out loud: the entrepreneurs who learn to use it as their sidekick are the ones who will win.
I think of AI as my second brain, not my competitor. It doesn’t take away my creativity or my instincts. It multiplies them. For example, I use AI to draft the first version of a blog post like this. Instead of staring at a blank page, I can ask it to sketch out an outline or turn an idea into something I can shape and refine. What used to take me two hours now takes thirty minutes, and I get to spend my energy polishing the message so it sounds like me.
I also lean on AI when I’m building out training for my teams. If I’ve got a concept in my head but don’t want to lose momentum by getting bogged down in formatting or structure, I’ll let AI create the first pass at slides or lesson plans. It’s not perfect. It’s never supposed to be perfect but it saves me hours and gives me a framework I can run with.
Even in the everyday grind, AI is there in the background. Drafting follow-up emails, summarizing long notes, suggesting headlines that catch attention on Instagram or in my newsletters. I still make the decisions. I still choose the tone, the angle, the timing. But I’m not wasting precious hours on the repetitive pieces. That means I can focus more on the conversations, the relationships, and the strategy that actually grow my businesses.
And yes, I even use AI to help me think bigger. When I’m planning a new course or testing an idea, I’ll run it through my AI tools to see what angles I might have missed, what questions people are asking, or how I can explain something more clearly. It’s like having a partner in the room who throws out ideas at lightning speed. I don’t accept them all, but the process always sharpens my thinking.
The point is this: AI is not here to do the work for you. It’s here to clear the clutter so you can do the work only you can do. Entrepreneurs who refuse to adapt will always be playing catch-up. Those who let AI become a trusted sidekick will scale faster, work smarter, and still keep their unique voice front and center.
That’s the conversation I’ll keep having inside The Sharpe Report. Real stories, real tools, and real ways to use AI without losing the human touch.
If you’re ready to see how this can look inside your own business, make sure you’re on the list.
